This article has been dedicated to explain radical concepts of cosmogonical myths at one of the main periods of Hindu thougth i.e Upanishadic period and the most important text of this era i.e the Upanishads(800-500 BCE) have been examined. In regards to background of cosmogonical ideas at earlier eras, from Vedic period to Brahmanas, we can say that theme Upanishads in this respect have been existed already in the Vedas. But in the Upanishads the ideas such as Monotheism, Pantheism, emanation of many from One, have been explicitly discussed. And there are debates about Brahman and Atman which are both the cause of creation & have identified with it. Moreover Atman & Brahman have been identified with each other in this case they are also the cause of creation.

Philosophy as an activity is a systematic rational thinking about any subject. Throughout history mysticism has been one of the interesting subjects for philosophers. Mystics in various cultures and traditions claim to have discovered a way to the inner aspect of the world and its secrets. Some mystics has expressed their findings in their mystical experiences and presented their vision of the world and the human nature. Here, philosophers in their own turn tried to scrutinize the nature of mysticism and mystics' claims, and their basis and consequences. This field of knowledge is called "philosophy of mysticism." One of the turning points in philosophy of mysticism is Stace's Mysticism and Philosophy. This work covers the most important issues in the field in areas such as epistemology, ontology, and philosophy of mind. Because of the especial importance of this book and its influence in the world and particularly in Iran, introducing and comparatively analyzing, and criticizing it is especially important. Since philosophy of mysticism is a new field of study in Iran, and there is not enough works in this area, this study can be considered as one of the first steps in the formation of this area of knowledge.

AbstractReincarnation is one of the widespread issues which are under consideration in various and especially Non- Abrahamic religions. One disputable matter in Islam is Metamorphosis. Explaining the issue and answering the related questions according to the different intellectual principles, and the correct understanding or the wrong perception of metamorphosis have all caused the emergence of different viewpoints in this regard. The main focus in this paper is the review of Mulla Sadra's viewpoint, particularly considering his independent writing of interpretation. With his new attention to the issue of metamorphosis, and distinguishing between reincarnation and metamorphosis and the distinction of their different definitions, Mulla Sadra offers a specific explanation and makes clear that the most important forms of reincarnation in which the soul once again returns to the material world is not of the raised issues of metamorphosis in the Qur'an.

Globalization has today removed many of the spacio-temporal borders between societies and cultures. In the Islamic culture, Islamic education is a central concept which is undeniably tied with the issue of globalization. Some researchers see globalization and becoming global as synonymous. This study uses a descriptive framework to define the tow concepts and to show their relationships with Islamic education in three dimensions: First, Globalization can be an end for Islamic education or it can be part of it in the process of becoming global. Second, Islamic education can be paradoxically opposed to globalization, differing with it in nature in spite of similarities. Third, globalization can be a threat for becoming global and Islamic education can be a threat as well, resulting in a gap in values. Having discussed the present issues, this paper offers suggestions for making religious education effective.

Is the language of religion the same as the common language? Various doctrines have been presented. Meanwhile، Wittgenstein offered two different doctrines in two different time periods. During the first period، he accepts the theory of common and visual language. But during the second period، he criticized his previous doctrine and offered the doctrine of “Language Games”، which means language has different functions and roles. In this paper، the writer explains this doctrine and its position on religious language topics and concludes that no matter how different are the functions، but they’re not heterogeneous، and the function of realism is the common function of language in all cases. And this common function makes a philosopher، poet، artist، scientist، and… to talk to each other in a meaningful way.

It is an undeniable necessity for Muslims to deeply understand the Orientalists’ opinions regarding Islamic knowledge and to scientifically scrutinize their viewpoints. To this end, the present writer has tried to examine Martin’s opinions regarding incarnation. The research method in this project is library research, while the adopted approach is an analytic-critical one. However, this does not mean that no use has been made of the descriptive methods. Although the focus of analysis has been on examination of Martin’s viewpoints regarding incarnation, but to complement the study, the opinions of the Islamic scholars have been used wherever needed. In the eyes of Martin, belief in the corporeality of God in some Islamic sects has resulted from their superficial perceptions about Quranic descriptions regarding the corporeality of God. He believes that the discussion over Divine Attributes dates back to the second quarter of the second century after Hegira. Examination of Martin’s opinions about incarnation reveals his extensive investigation of Islamic resources. However, the major mistakes he has committed show that he has not had access to all valid Islamic resources – especially the Shiite resources – or hasn’t been aware of them. Due to his one-sided reference to Sunni resources, Martin has ignored to pay attention to Shiite school opinions regarding incarnation.
