According to this theory, the virtue is complying with “the mean” in every action and avoiding the excess and deficiency which are considered as vices. In this study, by examining this theory and comparing it with the Islam's ethical theory – which is expressed in Islam's main texts, i.e the Qura'n and hadith – I will try to set forth an accurate and inclusive view in this regard. At last, the result of this try is showing the incompleteness of the basis of the Aristotelian theory of “Moderation” and also proving that according to reliable religious texts, the criterion for the “happiness” is “the intimacy to God” that encompass all excellencesand on the opposite side, “wretchedness” is avoiding every deed that approximates the person to the almighty God.}, keywords = {The Theory of Moderation,Islamic ethics,Aristotle,Happiness,wretchedness,Virtue,Intimacy to God}, title_fa = {ارزیابی مقایسه‌ای نظریه اعتدال ارسطویی و نظریه اخلاقی اسلام}, abstract_fa = {«نظریۀ اعتدال» که خاستگاهی یونانی دارد و بر پایۀ نظریۀ ارسطو بنیان نهاده شده است، به‌تدریج از قرون سوم و چهارم هجری به حوزۀ اخلاق اسلامی وارد و سبب شد حکیمان بسیاری چون ابن‌مسکویه و خواجه نصیرالدین طوسی آن را مبنای آثار اخلاقی خویش قرار دهند. طبق «نظریۀ‌ اعتدال»، ملاک فضیلت آن است که انسان بر اساس عقل خود حد میانه را در هر عملی رعایت و از افراط و تفریط (که رذیلت محسوب می‌شود) دوری کند.  در این پژوهش کوشیده‌ایم با ارزیابی و مقایسۀ این دیدگاه با نظریۀ اخلاقی اسلام، که در متون اصیل دینی یعنی آیات و روایات آمده است، به دیدگاه صحیح و جامعی در این زمینه دست یابیم. در نهایت حاصل این کوشش، نمایاندنِ ناتمام بودن مبنای «نظریۀ اعتدال» ارسطویی است و نیز اثبات اینکه بر اساس نصوص معتبر دینی‌، آنچه ملاک «سعادت» ‌انسان و جامع همۀ فضیلت‌ها محسوب می‌شود «قرب به خداوند» است و در مقابل، «شقاوت» دوری از هر عملی است که انسان را به خدای متعال نزدیک کند.}, keywords_fa = {The Theory of Moderation,Islamic ethics,Aristotle,Happiness,wretchedness,Virtue,Intimacy to God}, url = {https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_53515.html}, eprint = {https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_53515_288a2cb886e33458a02e7135e63dbc96.pdf} }
