The discussion of ethics and its relationship with religion has a strong relationship with the discussion of the axiology of ethical propositions and the functions of practical reason. Therefore, the discussion on each one without addressing the other one will be fruitless. This article first provides a brief explanation of the stances and main epistemological structures of Kant and Allamah Tabataba'i toward ethical rulings and then investigates the main viewpoints of these two thinkers toward the independence of ethics from religion. Next, the commonalities and discrepancies of the views of the two thinkers are used to show that based on the inherent meaning of ethical rulings, we might consider the two as believing in the inherent independence of ethics from religion, since both deem that practical reason – with its intellectual criteria – can identify the goodness and badness of deeds. Meanwhile, as the main source for the recognition of value-related rulings, reason is sometimes in need of the complementing role of religion. At the end, some shortcomings of Kant's viewpoint are discussed that are not witnessed in the viewpoint of Allamah Tabataba'i.}, keywords = {Ethics,Immanuel Kant,Allamah Tabataba'i,Religion,Practical reason,Self-determination of will}, title_fa = {استقلال ذاتی یا عدم استقلال ذاتی اخلاق از دین، بررسی دیدگاه کانت و علامه طباطبائی}, abstract_fa = {در جستار پیش‌رو در صددیم با تبیین استقلال ذاتی اخلاق، رابطۀ آن را با دین بیان و با بررسی آموزه‌های اخلاقی کانت و علامه طباطبایی موضع این دو اندیشمند را در ذیل این مسئله بیان کنیم. مبحث اخلاق و ارتباط آن با دین ارتباط وثیقی با مبحث ارزش‌شناسی گزاره‌های اخلاقی و کارکرد عقل عملی دارد. لذا بحث در باب یکی بدون پرداختن به دیگری عقیم خواهد بود. در این جستار نیز پس از تبیین کوتاهی پیرامون موضع و ساختارهای اساسی معرفت‌شناسی کانت و علامه طباطبایی دربارۀ احکام اخلاقی، مهم‌ترین دیدگاه‌های این دو اندیشمند در بحث استقلال اخلاق از دین بررسی خواهد شد. در ادامه با بیان محورهای اشتراک و افتراق این دو اندیشمند، نشان داده می‌شود که بسته به معنای ذاتی در احکام اخلاقی، می‌توان این دو را قائل به استقلال ذاتی اخلاق از دین دانست، زیرا هر دو اندیشمند برآن هستند که عقل عملی با معیارهای عقلانی خود می‌تواند خوبی و بدی اعمال را تشخیص دهد؛ در عین حال عقل به‌منزلۀ منبع اصلی شناخت احکام ارزشی، گاه به نقش تکمیل‌گر دین نیز محتاج است. در پایان به چند کاستی در دیدگاه کانت اشاره شده که دیدگاه علامه طباطبایی مصون از آنهاست.}, keywords_fa = {Ethics,Immanuel Kant,Allamah Tabataba'i,Religion,Practical reason,Self-determination of will}, url = {https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_66817.html}, eprint = {https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_66817_41e0c3d3537eda15df0a83845824cc3c.pdf} }
