One disputable matter in Islam is Metamorphosis. Explaining the issue and answering the related questions according to the different intellectual principles, and the correct understanding or the wrong perception of metamorphosis have all caused the emergence of different viewpoints in this regard. The main focus in this paper is the review of Mulla Sadra's viewpoint, particularly considering his independent writing of interpretation. With his new attention to the issue of metamorphosis, and distinguishing between reincarnation and metamorphosis and the distinction of their different definitions, Mulla Sadra offers a specific explanation and makes clear that the most important forms of reincarnation in which the soul once again returns to the material world is not of the raised issues of metamorphosis in the Qur'an.
