This analytical-comparative study contrasts the theories of Mulla Sadra and Ibn Arabi regarding the mechanism and quality of revelation, noting their distinct epistemological and ontological underpinnings. Mulla Sadra frames revelation through the lens of essential movement and the hierarchy of intellects. He posits it as a transitive process where divine knowledge moves from the Active Intellect to the prophet’s imaginative faculty, manifesting as sensible forms and language. Conversely, Ibn Arabi situates revelation within his theory of Manifestation (<em>Tajallī</em>) and the seven subtle centers of existence. Here, the Muhammadan Truth serves as the primary conduit for transmitting revelation to prophets. A comparative assessment reveals shared emphasis on the multi-staged nature of reception, the centrality of imagination, and the privileged status of the prophetic soul. The fundamental divergence lies in methodology: Sadra provides a philosophical and rational account, whereas Ibn Arabi offers a mystical and intuitive exposition. This juxtaposition yields a more holistic comprehension of revelation within the Islamic intellectual tradition. وحی، به ‌عنوان عالی‌ترین مرتبة ارتباط انسان با خداوند، همواره کانون توجه فیلسوفان و عارفان مسلمان بوده است. ملاصدرا و ابن‌عربی هر یک با مبانی معرفت‌شناختی، انسان‌شناختی، و هستی‌شناختی خاص خود تبیین‌های متمایزی از کیفیت و مکانیسم نزول وحی ارائه داده‌اند. پژوهش حاضر با رویکرد تحلیلی‌ـ تطبیقی به بررسی دیدگاه این دو اندیشمند می‌پردازد. بر اساس یافته‌های تحقیق، ملاصدرا نزول وحی را در پرتو نظریة حرکت جوهری و مراتب عقل تحلیل می‌کند و آن را فرایندی می‌داند که طی آن معارف الهی از عقل فعال به قوة متخیلة نبی منتقل می‌شود و در قالب الفاظ و صور محسوس ظهور می‌یابد. در مقابل، ابن‌عربی نزول وحی را در چارچوب نظریة تجلی و بر مبنای مراتب وجود و لطایف سبعه تبیین می‌کند؛ بدین ‌معنا که حقیقت محمدیه به‌ عنوان نخستین مظهر الهی واسطة اصلی در دریافت و انتقال وحی به پیامبران است. مقایسة تطبیقی نشان می‌دهد که هر دو دیدگاه بر چندمرحله‌ای بودن نزول وحی، نقش محوری قوة خیال، و جایگاه ممتاز نفس نبی تأکید دارند؛ با این تفاوت که ملاصدرا تحلیلی فلسفی و عقل‌محور و ابن‌عربی تحلیلی عرفانی و شهودمحور از این فرایند ارائه می‌دهند. بررسی تطبیقی این دو رویکرد تصویری جامع‌تر از مکانیسم نزول وحی در سنت اسلامی به دست می‌دهد. https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_104921_5610b3d5f154846d32fd1ed4ce54097e.pdf
