The theodicy of protest’s expectation is that God will change the circumstances in favor of the people who are suffering. In this article we try to analyze and criticize the theodicy of protest. The theodicy of protest in comparison to other theodicies has advantages and disadvantages. Unlike other theodicies which undertake maximalist approach to discover God’s reasons and motives, it takes an average and skeptical approach. It also has a pragmatic and victim-oriented, rather than a theoretical, approach; it provides a response to the emotional problem of evil; and it pays attention to historical events; it is going to solve the human problem through a human approach, rather than solving the philosophical and theological problems of evil. However, this theodicy has faced several criticisms: pessimistic eschatology, its opposition to divine beneficence, the contrast between human freedom and divine interference, the contradiction between divine love and divine power, the denial of hope in God, incorrect generalization of its efficiency. Some theologians and philosophers have criticized this theodicy including: John Hick, David Ray Griffin, and Stephen T. Davis and D. Z. Phillips. «تئودیسۀ اعتراض» از تئودیسه‌هایی است که در الهیات پساهولوکاستی شکل گرفت و در پی آن است تا با گله و شکایت مؤمنانه از خدا، امید به رفع شر از سوی خدا را تقویت کند و با شورش، خدایی را خطاب قرار دهد که قدرتش با هیچ قاعدۀ عقلانی یا اخلاقی محدود نمی‌شود و یکسره به ارادۀ مطلق خویش وابسته است. انتظار تئودیسۀ اعتراض این است که خدا بی‌حساب و کتاب شرایط را به نفع شخص رنج‌کشیده تغییر دهد. در این مقاله می‌کوشیم به نقد و بررسی تئودیسۀ اعتراض بپردازیم. تئودیسۀ اعتراض در مقایسه با سایر تئودیسه‌ها مزایا و کاستی‌هایی دارد و رویکرد آن نسبت به دیگر تئودیسه‌ها که به‌نحو حداکثری در مقام یافتن انگیزه‌ها و دلایل خدا هستند، معتدل و شکاکانه بوده و به‌جای رویکرد نظری و ناظرمحور، به‌دنبال رویکرد عملی و قربانی‌محور است. به‌صورت همزمان به مسئلۀ عقلی و عاطفی شر پاسخ می‌دهد و بیش از آنکه دغدغۀ حل مسئلۀ الهیاتی و فلسفی شر را داشته باشد، دل‌نگران حل مسئلۀ بشری و انسانی شر با رویکردی انسان‌گرایانه است. از دیگر سو نقص‌ها و ابهاماتی در تئودیسۀ اعتراض وجود دارد که فیلسوفان دینی چون هیک، گریفین، دیویس و فیلیپس به آنها اشاره کرده‌اند. نقص‌هایی مانند ناسازگاری‌هایی که از مفاهیم اختیار انسان، قدرت مطلق خدا، عشق خدا، خیرخواهی خدا و امید به خدا با اعتراض برمی‌آید. این اشکال‌ها نیز خود جای نقد و ارزیابی دارد. https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_64490_ff43b070c8414d626834560097a519e1.pdf
