This has led to the emergence of a monotheistic gap between the Bible and the Qur'an. On the one hand, he believes that the thought of the absolute simplicity of divine essence comes from Plotinus and is imported to the Qur’ān in the form of Aḥad and Al-Samad words, and on the other hand, he believes that the relation between attributes and essence is inevitably implied by the occurrence of plurality and the negation of absolute simplicity. In this paper, the dimensions of Geisler's critique have been examined from the perspective of Sadrian theosophy. Instead of the claim for the importing or imposing simplicity concept onto the qur’ānic verses, the inference of the simplicity of the divine essence is done through a philosophical analysis of divine attributes such as absolute richness, absolute perfection, non-limitation and non-destructibility of the divine essence, all kinds of combinations (including the combination of the attributes and essence) are rejected, and the simplicity of the divine essence is emphasized. نورمن گیسلر اعتقاد دارد که دلیل گذار خدای ادیان ابراهیمی از هیأت تثلیثی به بلندای احدیت و صمدیت در قرآن، نفوذ اندیشۀ فلوطینی در آن بوده و همین امر سبب پیدایش گسست و ناپیوستگی توحیدی میان کتاب مقدس و قرآن شده است. وی از یک‌سو اندیشۀ بساطت مطلق ذات الهی را اندیشه‌ای فلوطینی و وارداتی در قالب واژگان احد و الصمد به قرآن می‌داند و از سوی دیگر رابطۀ صفات و ذات را ناگزیر از وقوع کثرت و نفی بساطت مطلق پنداشته است. در این مقاله ابعاد انتقادهای گیسلر از منظر حکمت صدرایی بررسی و به‌جای ادعای وارد کردن یا تحمیل بساطت بر آیات قرآن بر استنباط بساطت ذات الهی از طریق تحلیل فلسفی صفات الهی، همچون غنای مطلق، کمال مطلق، عدم محدودیت و زوال‌ناپذیری ذات الهی، به نفی همۀ انواع ترکیب من جمله ترکیب صفات و ذات و اثبات بساطت ذات الهی تأکید شده است. https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_76279_533e328159be51f3440ba46fa8ef2f11.pdf
