Copious discussions have been made about their discourse, arguments, evidences, and requirements. One of the criticisms of atheists against theists is that the existence of God and His acceptance through the attributes expressed by religions is a self-contradictory issue that will not be accepted if it is perceived correctly. Michael Martin, the contemporary philosopher and atheist, takes attributes such as absolute Knower or absolute Goodness as the reason for the contradiction and denial of the existence of God, and has tried to rationalize atheism this way. Adopting a descriptive-analytical research method, this paper aims to critically examine Martin’s view in this regard and show the weaknesses of limiting the world of being to matter and materiality and likening God to human in the acquisition of knowledge, as God’s presential knowledge (which is the highest level of knowledge) makes Him needless to the human types of knowledge. Martin’s mistake lies in his human-like view to God and his lack of true understanding of the absolute Knower; that is, he should have not addressed the divine knowledge based on a non-philosophical classification of knowledge. <span lang="FA" style="font-family: 'B Lotus';">خداباوری و الحاد دوسویه همیشه در تقابل جریان تاریخ بشر، در پاسخ به منشأ هستی و وجود هستند که بحث‌های فراوانی در خصوص گفتمان، ادله، شواهد و لوازم آنها شده است. یکی از نقدهای آتئیست‌ها بر خداباوران این است که وجود خداوند و قبول آن با صفاتی که در ادیان بیان می‌شود، امری خودمتناقض بوده و در صورت تصور درست، پذیرفته نخواهد شد. مایکل مارتین، ملحد و فیلسوف عصر حاضر، صفاتی چون عالم مطلق بودن و خیر مطلق بودن خدا را سبب تناقض و انکار وجود خدا دانسته و سعی کرده است تا الحاد را از این طریق معقول جلوه دهد. نوشتار حاضر با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی درصدد بررسی انتقادی این گفتار مارتین و نشان دادن ضعف‌های این رویکرد در محدود دانستن عالم هستی به ماده و جسمانیت و قیاس خداوند به انسان در شیوۀ حصولی کسب علوم است و حال آنکه علم حضوری خدا که بالاترین مرتبۀ علم است، خدا را از انواع دیگر علوم بشری بی‌نیاز می‌کند. خطای مارتین نگاه انسان‌انگارانه به خدا و نیز عدم فهم درست از عالم مطلق است و وی نباید با تقسیمی غیرفلسفی از علم به قضاوت دربارۀ علم الهی می‌پرداخت.</span> https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_87430_0eaf4221bb014b9245d34b363995beca.pdf
