One of these mechanisms is neuroplasticity. This study aimed at exploring and explaining the factors of the gradual intensification of volitional faith within the neurobiological conceptual framework and its comparison with the factors contributing to worshiping rituals – especially prayers – that come from the Quranic teachings. This comparative study is done through the descriptive-analytical method. The findings show that the existence of the three factors common in the worshipping rituals (as recommended by the Quran) and neurobiological learning, i.e., repetition, attention, and emotion, lead to neuroplasticity and gradual intensification of faith. This justifies the mental causality and supports a level of voluntarism in faith. برخلاف خوانش سنتی از نظریۀ تکامل که نگره‌ای پایین به بالا دارد و کنش‌های انسانی از جمله باورمندی دینی را مقهور علیت ژنی و مم‌ها معرفی می‌کند، خوانش نوین نگره‌ای بالا به پایین دارد و سازوکارهایی را ارائه می‌کند که طی آن چگونگی بروز ژن‌ها از بالاترین سطوح زیستی کنترل می‌شود. انعطاف‌پذیری نورونی[1] از جملۀ این سازوکارهاست. مسئلۀ این پژوهش واکاوی و تبیین مؤلفه‌های اشتدادپذیری ایمانِ اختیاری در چارچوب مفهومی ِنوروبیولوژیک و مقایسۀ آن با مؤلفه‌های مناسک عبادی، به‌ویژه نماز، مطابق آموزه‌های قرآنی است. پژوهش حاضر به روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و به‌صورت مقایسه‌ای صورت گرفته است و یافته‌های تحقیق نشان می‌دهد وجود سه مؤلفۀ همپوشان در مناسک دینی توصیه‌شدۀ قرآنی و یادگیری در دانش اعصاب، یعنی تکرار، توجه و هیجان، به انعطاف‌پذیری نورونی و اشتداد ایمان فرد منجر می‌شود. این مهم توجیه‌کنندۀ علیت ذهنی و مقوّم سطحی از اختیارگرایی در ایمان است.   https://jpht.ut.ac.ir/article_88224_293e60f11b4764726fde44c616828deb.pdf
