The concept of human supremacy has always been a topic of discussion among religions. In the current century, recent scientific-technological trends, by delving into theoretical and practical issues related to human cognition, have also become interested in the issue of the differences between creatures and humans. While sharing this type of interest, they adopted different positions regarding the criterion of supremacy. Some, such as transhumanism, see supremacy in the use of science and technology to enhance human organs, while posthumanism fundamentally rejects any kind of superiority. But in the religious perspective, man is a superior being in the universe, and among humans, supremacy prevails based on the criterion of piety as the focal point of religious life. In this research, the Quranic anthropology of Allameh Javadi Amoli has been used as the basis for analyzing the posthumanism movement as interpreted by Francesca Ferrando. The research method is analytical-deductive. The findings show that the type of anthropology that governs paradigms determines the form and type of ranking of beings in the universe. Therefore, by considering anthropological interpretations such as "unity of identity versus its plurality", "the priority of human interpretation over his change", and "the transcendence of man, not merely the transcendence of human conditions", the rational necessity of supremacy and its criterion (piety) is addressed.
