Abstract

Dawkins, the leader of modern atheism, believes in the incompatibility of the theory of evolution and theism, and is against creationism. He maintains that creation, evolution, and diversity of life can be explained based on the evolution theory, so there is no need to imagine a superior, powerful, and complex God to explain the changes. Rejecting the traditional arguments for the existence of God and providing arguments for the implausibility of the existence of God, he rejects the need to a supernatural being called God. In the article at hand, the shortcomings of his claims are expressed, including the weakness of his arguments, the defectiveness and inconsistency of his understanding of God, the inaccuracy of his presupposition that belief in God is illogical, and the frequent fallacies in his analysis of theism. Dawkins, who has derived the rejection of God and purposefulness of the universe from the theory of evolution, is logically wrong.
